Power outage at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos reached another dimension yesterday after another total black out that reportedly has now forced some airlines to get generating sets so they can power their operations.
According to reports, some early flights like Virgin Atlantic, Air Maroc and Arik Air London, also had to be diverted to the domestic runway due to the absence of lighting on the international runway.
Meanwhile, FAAN has blamed damaged cables for the embarassing power outage at the MMIA,Ikeja.
