Whoopi Goldberg: "If a Woman Slaps a Man, He has Every Right to Slap Her Back"

Whoopi Goldberg is known for speaking her mind – and earlier this week on The View, the co-host shared her honest thoughts on the Solange and Jay Z fiasco.

In a clip from Tuesday's episode, Whoopi said Jay would have been within his rights to slug Solange back for hitting him.

“I think Solange was quite ready for him to do whatever he was going to do. This is the thing: If anybody hits you, you have the right – I know that many people are raised in a different way – but if a woman hits you, to me, you have the right to hit her back.”

When Barbara Walters asked Whoopi if it was OK for a man to hit a woman, Goldberg replied:

“If I slap a man, he has every right to slap me back. Every right.”Do you agree with her?
