Manchester City set to sign Nigerian youngster Nwakali
Manchester City are close to signing 17-year-old Chidi Nwakali according to reports.
The Nigerian midfielder was a prominent figure, as the Golden Eaglets won the U-17 World Cup in UAE this year and will arrive in England on January 2 with his parents, to hold talks with officials at the Etihad.
Nwakali is expected to earn £300,000 a year in wages, fees and
add-ons, if the deal is completed. The move comes on the back of his
team-mate Kelechi Iheanacho snubbing the Premier League giants for FC
Porto.
