Nollywood Actor's Marriage To Former Governor’s Daughter Has Crashed

The marriage between Nollywood Actor, Ibrahim Chatta and his wife, Salamatu Lafiaji, the daughter of former Kwara State governor, Senator Shaaba Lafiaji, has crashed.

You will recall that Chatta and Salamotu got married in April 2013, shortly after his first marriage crashed due to allegation of wife battering which he emphatically denied.
Ibrahim had maintained that his ex-wife, Olayinka Solomon, never stayed at home, or bothered to take care of their child. This, he said, was what drove him into the arms of Salamat in the first place.
Disputing that he married Salamat for her wealth, Chatta had said “Truthfully, Salamat is a beautiful woman and she’s from a well-to-do family, but if I intended to marry for money, I wouldn’t have been available when she came along.Continue..

I am not a gold digger like some people wrote about me” he declared when the going was still smooth. However, the short-lived union has hit the rocks.
According to report, the couple started having problems shortly after their marriage due to class differences.
According to a popular magazine, “Salamotu, who comes from a wealthy home, was not too comfortable with the living conditions in Chatta’s home, and this put a strain on the relationship until two weeks ago when she finally moved out of the house.”
When contacted, Ibrahim Chatta refused to deny or confirm the report, as he kept mum.
